  • Mike Peters

    C.E.O

    Mike, who is Hertfordshire born and bred, has been with Jarvis for over 20 years, learning his development skills as a Partner with Commercial Surveyors and Tarmac Properties. An inquisitive and questioning mind, he proudly leads a dynamic and hardworking team, whilst still maintaining a very ‘hands on’ approach. Together they have completed many of Harpenden’s key landmark developments, including the Gleneagle Manor, The Foresters and Stationmasters House. This approach ensures responsibility and accountability for each and every project. As well as a love for his work, architecture and history, Mike also has a passion for rugby and an ongoing battle to master the art of golf and squash.

  • Michael Margereson

    Land Director

    Michael joined Jarvis in 2012 since when he has been involved in a number of high profile developments including Gleneagle Manor and Lea Industrial Estate. His principle role is the acquisition, planning and development of new opportunities. Michael lives in Harpenden and outside work has an active family life and interests including golf, cycling and squash.

  • Andy Driver

    Project Director

    Andy is a key member of the ‘Homes team’, co-ordinating the efforts of the Design, Construction, Surveying and Sales Team, ensuring quality is not compromised and projects are delivered on programme. He is a fully qualified quantity surveyor who has worked at Jarvis for almost 20 years. Andy is a great family man with the skill set and temperament to harness the efforts of the other team members and resolve any challenges.

  • Neil Bygrave

    Surveyor

    Neil has joined Jarvis recently with more than 16 years of surveying experience with national volume housebuilders. Presently employed on a part-time basis, Neil is relishing the challenge of helping to produce high quality homes on programme and within budget. Neil enjoys a variety of water sports and is a keen angler, although with a 3 year old daughter, time for hobbies is limited.

  • Ananda Hale

    Property Manager

    Ananda joined Jarvis in 2017 to provide specialist advice and support in relation to the property portfolio. Ananda is a Chartered General Practice Surveyor with over 25 years experience in landlord and tenant, property and asset management, and disposals and acquisitions, having worked in both the public and private sector. Outside the office Ananda enjoys theatre, music, reading and travel, particularly to visit family living in Portugal and Australia .

  • Richard Taaffe

    Quantity Surveyor

    Richard joined Jarvis as part of the surveying team in 2014. Previously he has gained experience working for a local developer on a variety of residential schemes and for a main contractor on a high end residential project in Kensington. Outside of work Richard is kept busy with a young family but when he gets the chance enjoys playing football and golf.

  • Chris Baxter

    Architectural CAD Technician

    Chris is an integral member of the Jarvis Homes design team, having joined the company 20 years ago directly from University after gaining HND and BSc (Hons) qualifications. His responsibilities include the progression of the feasibility and planning of schemes to the next phase, creating the project working drawings for submission of building regulations and following on to construction, assisting the team all the way through to completion. With this experience and knowledge base behind him, Chris is now continuing his professional development working towards becoming a full member of CIAT. Chris is a family man with diverse interests including martial arts as well as taking part in various triathlons and running events.

  • Peter Rudge

    Senior Designer

    Every Homes project starts with a feasibility study and site appraisal. These initial concepts are adapted into detailed planning applications and ultimately into full working drawings. Peter, who manages this process and the design team, has been with Jarvis for over 38 years and has been largely responsible for the design of every Jarvis Home during that time. He is responsible for detailing distinct and practical homes combining traditional materials and contemporary living lifestyles.

  • Bob Mann

    Construction Manager

    Bob joined Jarvis in 1974. He started as an apprentice carpenter and joiner. With these skills, hard work and dedication, he has progressed through the ranks to become the principle Construction Manager for Jarvis Homes. His role is to ensure every client’s new house is built to our ‘Jarvis Homes Standard’. His knowledge and expertise in construction matters is unrivalled, with a careful eye for detail and an uncompromising approach towards quality and standards of workmanship.

  • Frances Holt

    Development Secretary

    Frances acts as the liaison between our construction team and our customers, being the first point of contact to purchasers and responsible for all aftercare issues. A warm and friendly disposition, as well as being well organised and methodical makes her the ideal candidate for this very important role, as customer satisfaction is the corner stone of our philosophy.

  • Sarah Lovett

    Sales & Design Consultant

    Sarah is the Sales & Design Consultant for the Homes Division. Her primary role is to liaise with buyers and where appropriate, assist with their specification and internal design choices. Sarah has a keen interest in property and has worked for various estate agents over the years. She completed an Interior Design course a few years ago and has since project managed the refurbishment of several properties in Harpenden. She has lived in Harpenden for over 30 years and has two teenage children.
